COMBO

COMBO will be having its annual general meeting on Saturday February 11, 2012. The meeting will be held at BikeSource on Sawmill Rd. starting at 9:00am. We will be recapping 2011 as well as discussing our plans for 2012. We will also be holding our general elections for our 5 board member positions. After the board is elected they will meet to appoint a president, treasurer and membership coordinator. You do not need to be a COMBO member to attend the meeting but you must be a paid member in good standing in order to vote for the board members.

Just to clear up any confusion the Chestnut Ridge Trail should be ridden in the clockwise direction only.  This is our only unidirctional trail.  The trail entrance is just on your left as you pull into the parking lot.  You'll see a sign post and a wide mowed corridor.  The exit is the trail behind the kiosk (again a wide mowed corridor).  Also, this trail is for mountain biking only.  Running or walking of the trail is prohibited.  You can run or walk the trails in the main park.

Also, please note that the Metro Parks will control the trail closures.  Their Facebook page will have the official open/closed postings and COMBO will do our best to keep our trail status in line with theirs.  Also, you may call the park (614.837.8760) or park dispatch (614.620.1864) for current trail conditions.
