ALUM CREEK
- Featured Trails: Coaster Loop, Gnomewood Beginner Loop, Gnomewood Skills Park
Coaster Loop is the place to start. It is a short loop located on the West side of the parking lot about 50 feet down a paved path located behind the storage containers. The trail itself is very easy to navigate and there are some optional wooded “roller coaster” features for those looking for some added challenge.
Gnomewood is the name given to the area south of the parking lot, on the other side of Lewis Center Road. To access Gnomewood, use the gravel trail that leads to the cross walk located on the South-East corner of the parking lot. As you cross the first bridge and round the corner, Gnomewood Skills Park will be located on your right. If you continue following the trail you will reach the beginner on the Gnomewood Beginner Loop in about a quarter mile.
- Ride Length & Time: For all three trails, the distance is 2.5 miles which will take about 30-40 minutes. Coaster Loop and the Gnomewood Skills Park can each be ridden in 5 minutes. The Gnomewood Beginner Loop is approximately 2 miles long will typically take 30 minutes.
