6 Hours at Chestnut Ridge - Brought to you by Wheelie Fun Bike Shop

It's back!   We found a date that doesn’t conflict with other Ohio MTB races, is traditionally dry, works for Columbus Metro Parks and SBR Timing Services. The 2nd annual 6 Hours at Chestnut Ridge brought to you by Wheelie Fun Bike Shop is a race and fund-raising event to bring the mountain bike community together and celebrate mountain biking. All profits for this event go to COMBO's general trail fund which helps maintain over 50 miles of singletrack trails in Central Ohio. This is a timed race where individuals/teams try to complete as many laps as possible within the 6+ hour time limit. All racers/teams must start their last lap before the 5:00pm cutoff time. The individual or team to cross the finish line first with the most laps no later than 6:00pm wins. Top three individuals/teams in each class will receive a guaranteed cash payout. Fourth and Fifth place will receive swag from our generous sponsors. Special prizes and bragging rights will be given to the woman and man that have the fastest lap time for the day. T-shirt and meal are included in your race fee.

Blood Road at the Gateway Film Center

Join us for the screening of Blood Road Friday August 18th at the Gateway Film Center.

Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier.

During this poignant voyage of self discovery, the women push their bodies to the limit while learning more about the historic ‘Blood Road’ they’re pedaling and how the Vietnam War shaped their lives in different ways.

Cap City Short Track Series 4

This is the last of 4 races in the Cap City Short Track Series at Chestnut Ridge.  Cap City Collective partnered with COMBO to put on a test event last summer at Chestnut Ridge MTB trails in order to appeal to a wider range of riders. It was a last minute event and was a HUGE SUCCESS! So we are back this year with a 4-race spring series. 100% of all money raised will go to COMBO and Cap City Collective to be used for projects that will improve trail experience in central Ohio. The Chestnut Ridge Short Track course will feature a 1-mile loop that incorporates fast flowing single track, power grass sections, and technical MTB features. Everyone wants short track racing to be more like "mountain biking" and this event aims to deliver. Our fundraising efforts will be used to add the features (jumps, drops, rock gardens, technical descents) for future events that everyone wants to see. This is your chance to help us make our local trails and venues more rad!
