COMBO is preparing the trail for the upcoming OMBC race. We'll be fixing problem area, grooming, clearing brush, armoring. This is one of the big work days of the year for us, so come on out.
8am to 12pm (its OK to come out for less time)
Bring gloves, water, spade if you have one.
Stolen Niner Bikes

Putting the word out that after the Niner demo on Saturday in Columbus, someone cut the lock to the side door of the Niner trailer last night and stole 3 RIP's.
He doesn't have serial numbers yet but wanted to give us descriptions of each bike so we can keep an eye out for them on the trail and in the shops.
The small bike is a raw frame with a Fox fork and a 9mm axle.
The medium bike is a raw frame with a Fox fork and 9mm axle.
The large bike is a milk dud frame with Fox fork and through axle.
All 3 bikes have green ergon grips.
Will update with serial numbers when they become available
COMBO Announces New Partnership with Metro-Parks

COMBO is proud to announce a new partnership with the Franklin county Metro-Parks. This new partnership will allow MTB trails to be built at Three Creeks Metro Park in Groveport as well as Batelle - Darby or Prairie Oaks Metro-Parks in West Jefferson. The Deputy Director Larry Peck has seen how well the process can work at areas like MOMBA and has accepted our proposal to design and build trails in Franklin County. We will also have special event priviledges to ride in Metro-parks such as Clear Creek and others for fund raisers or group rides. COMBO is also in talks with Alum creek for further expansion of the current trail systems. The Ohio State Parks are interested in making all State Parks self sustainable. That means bringing in users to use the campground. To do that Ohio's parks will need more than 25 miles of MTB trails. We are in talks with several state parks in the area for trail expansions. Now is a great time to join or volunteer with COMBO. Look for a new beginner trail at Alum Creek this spring that will be longer and easier for those that just bought a bike and are ready to hit the dirt.
Update-- Right now new trails at Batelle Darby or Prairie Oaks are in a holding pattern as we continue to seek out sustainable areas to use. However, BA has checked out some property at Chestnut Ridge that could be an awesome trail system. Updates will be added as the process continues.
